Deleting Emails on Webmail Services
Gmail:
- Open Gmail and log in to your account.
- Check the box next to the email(s) you want to delete, or open the email to view its contents.
- Click the trash can icon or the “Delete” button to move the selected email(s) to the Trash folder.
- To permanently delete emails, open the Trash folder, select the emails, and click “Delete forever.”
Outlook (formerly Hotmail):
- Sign in to your Outlook account.
- Select the email(s) you want to delete by checking the box next to them.
- Click the “Delete” button or press the Delete key on your keyboard.
- Deleted emails will be moved to the Deleted Items folder. To permanently delete them, open the folder and select “Empty folder.”
